IP Clinic Students Present 6th Annual Tips and Tricks for Start-Ups

Glushko-Samuelson IP Clinic Students presented a 6th annual IP Tips and Tricks program for startups on March 25th via Zoom for the AU Center for Innovation (AUCI) Incubator at American University’s Kogod School of Business. The AUCI entrepreneurs are either at the initial stages of their startup ventures or in the process of building their businesses. At the session the students conveyed some key IP “tips and tricks” for startups and entrepreneurs.
 
IP Clinic students Haley Ball, Erin Hadi, Diana Song, Kate Brennan, Demitri Dawson, Vinnie Johnson, Maggie Horstman, Aden Hizkias, Hannah Lee, Nick Meyer, Maddie Reed and Isabel Garcia addressed copyright, trademark, patent, trade secrets, privacy and other issues important to Kogod’s startup ventures in the annual collaboration with the AU Incubator.

We are a live-client law firm within American University, Washington College of Law. Each year, 230 students participate in our program, helping real clients (low income and under-represented people and organizations in the D.C. area) with a wide array of real legal problems.
